Abstract

The article describes and presents a solution for improving the effectiveness of object recognition in Class V and VI mirrors in order to reduce the number of accidents caused by view obstruction. The proposed solution was tested on a Renault Magnum truck, in which a significant reduction in the time required for the detection of pedestrians was proved. The solution is a co-directional couple of audio and visual stimuli.
